Shoot Boxing vs Stinger Boxing?

Which one is faster, and which one does the most damage? Also which one is best?

I have seen some videos of it and i can tell ya
shoot<stinger

Why? Stinger has a 4 hit combo launcher(not good for edging like avenger 2 hit launcher but better for long combos and juggles), its normal nanmu juggle can do 20 hits alone (if an advanced combo is discovered, well is gonna be heavy)
It hurts hell of a lot but is not as fast as shoot.
MAIN ADVANTAGE: the special move totally OWNS, it gives you some invincibility frames and is EXCELLENT for taunting, it will play much more mind games and not just spamming rage as shoot.

Stinger just as shoot seems easy to juggle, is delayable and easier to angle (4 what I can see). Still i love shoot :D

Something about Stinger doesn't give me that boxing feeling like Shoot and Old School gives. So for me it'd be: Shoot>Stinger.

Shoot has an unblockable.

Stinger has a dodge special move then 3 hits.

Shoot doesnt move forward alot.

Stinger is a SOPHIST ACTED Scroll, so I guess you all don't understand. It's like Guem. It's all about drift and delay, instead of SPAM like shoot. Don't get Stinger if you like spam like all these people recommending shoot, because spamming Stinger is fail.

I agree with komos guys, stinger in hands of a good drifter will destroy shoot in a flash...
Is not that shoot is bad, is just that most people tend to abuse the spam and that kind of thing agains stinger is... well stupid, stinger special will own any kind of spammy scroll... and the combos are EASY to do

If I had more info on the scroll, I'd agree. Like delay, angling and such abilities.

From the video, I posted my feelings on it.
Shoot has friggin annoying punches as well as confusing ones. That is the main reason why I prefer Shoot.

Another reason is that I can't beat shoot. Nor can I beat capoeira.

Every, and I mean EVERY, hit in EVERY Stinger combo has SOME kind of delay.

Also, OSB'S kicks as a PK combo

I love Stinger juggle Starter. Run+Z.

Nobody really expects it. It's like, "Great, here's another tackle faggot." RUN+Z! "OMFG!" Juggled.

I would recommend stinger. Stinger is pro. Shoot is spam. P*P*P+P+K*P*P*P (Resume until dead or simply keep spamming, someone will fall for it)

Stinger's launch combo is PPPP.

I have Stinger on gem. The delays in the punches are P*PP*P

The First punch has horrible recovery, so stop at the third punch.

The kicks have these delays: K*K*K*KK

The fourth K is a pop-up.
Partially Angle-friendly.

KP = Nice Getaways, Excellent Angling.

kG (KKK) Probably the most useful combo in here. It's kG adds a few invincibility frames so you can't get thrown after you use this. KKK is short, and knocks back a good distance.

I got to say....either the people using stinger just suck that ive played against....or ive just gotten used to fight the "boxing" scrolls....
i havent lost to stinger once so far (except for in dos where i didnt expect to bounce off the ground and over the fence....) i was like WTF? O_O

but one on one i havent lost yet......can someone show me personally the juggles and nanmu?
ive seen the videos but i want to see the damage and other stuff for myself

He probably got confused with red scorpion and stinger which makes sense in a way since scorpions sting you xD

but.. ThisOne you have to give time for them to be good at it.

Those scrolls that you can be good at so easily in a short amount of time *ahem* shoot *ahem* tends to be the "easy" scroll

True...i should give it more time.....i guess not everyone picks up a scroll and just does the juggle like i do lol

(I got bags juggle figured out after 4 hours, Kobudo took me a day or two, Karate i got within a day,and vale....well i just couldnt get that one so quick lol took me 3 days to get the timing...)


I only keep scrolls that are hard to master or hard to use.....and which case make them fun

Ive sold many scrolls out of boredom.....
i have sold Shoot boxing, Mao(three times i dunno why i keep buyin it) Shao, MT(sold once but bought it again and i LOVE it), Judo(yesterday),kobudo(boredom) just about everything else because it was boring to use or it just made it too easy to win.

The scrolls i currently have are in my signature.
i havent had renegade for a long time and bought it again yesterday....(lmao sold judo and bought renegade O_O ZOMGFTWZORS'?) I think it was worth it lol
