"Demo Pros?" - MLV FTW

Happened on Tuesday of this week. Reason for telling this story is cause im bored and RF is STILL down. This is not made up lol.

Now, i was talking with a few of my buddies while playing some Moonlight (the only map i ever play EVER) and after i got 1st like 3-4 times, all three of em started complaining about how they arent nubby and play ML. Instead they stated that they were "Demo Pros" and that i couldnt handle their turf as a ML player.

Made a macro, joined the room, waited til the countdown, yelled "THIS ISNT MOON?!", and started playing.

Round 1 - my team dies b4 halfway up (i was 1st to die lolol)

Round 2 - Me and two of their guys are left on top, one of them blade spirit suicides off, the other fights me and barely survives as he spams ice charger on me, and the game ends in a tie with me leading.

Round 3 - By the time we reached top, we had 3 suviving and they had 1 (i killed two by panic predicting like a monster), both my teammates jump down and get BWN angle grabbed on that plank, guy gets on top and we start to fight, I lay down a cyclone, and i bag juggle him the rest of the way off before he hits the ground.

Somehow we lose (WTF) but i fortunatly i got Rumble King and got 1st. The whole game i spammed the macro "DEMO BE EZ! MLV FTW!" (Was kidding, Demo is actually quite hard for me)
Nevertheless, it was a fun experience rubbing the win into my "Demo Pro" buds and i bragged for a whole day :ha:

TLDR Version - Demo players challenged me, a ML player, and lost. I bragged and ragged on how demo is nothing for ML players. They got mad and came to my house to spam my doorbell. ((I'm in no way trying to piss off Demo players haha))

But seriously, learn how to play different maps.

I can beat almost anyone on almost any map(Want me to prove it? 1 vs. 1 me.)

Well i "can" play on other maps, i just dont anymore. Every time a new map came out, i milked it dry for all the good spots and preferable areas. (Except Risky, fck that exo spammin map)

I just enjoy moonlight the most. Makes me good at dodging all attacks, which is a great trait to utilize on all maps.

Yeah, moonlight combined with these scrolls,



Jeet/Dragon
Sambo
Pro
PKK/MT
DM
Exile
Hitman
Agent

Are good choices. As for exocores, almost any exocore is suitable for moonlight. Every scroll is awesome for moonlight, its just that those scrolls are REALLY useful for their moves.

You do know what I'm talking about? Like in Moonlight, DM peeps will just spam ram. Thought it's not the best tactic, some DM pros will actually use kG, Angle Front throw on bridge, and such.

Dragon and Jeet own for their Kick combo, Dragon owns with it's Nanmu and KP.

Exile, again, pwns with its front throw. the KKPK also works like Sambo's KKPK.

Agent has the nice kG - P and kG - K. That's really all.

Hitman has it's front throw.

Red Scorpion has a nice front throw and a good counter.

Sambo, Throws and KKPK. INCLUDING THE AWESOME COUNTER ON THE BRIDGE.

PKK and MT has their nice Fence edging combos.

And there are many more, although Im sure you already know all of this. :3.

Dont forget bag...its kicks are similar to MT's punches and they catch aerial opponets effectively which = pwn

Yeah, I was considering getting Bag until I saw Dragon and then I wuz lyk :smilebig:

But still, Bag looks pretty fun to play with. Especially its PPKKK combo.

Shido does have good delays and angling abilities. Although I didnt add it because I never used it. o-o

Well that was just my opinion. Shido users differ from each other. Also, since its such a Delay monster its open to counter people and grabbers once u finish your combos because of the cooldown.

That's to the people who know about countering *cough* Blueblur *cough*. Either way, if you know they counter, you can open up a potential mind game with them. Instead of going to the maximizing delay, go between.

Shidokan is amazing, I've been using it since I traded it. Its a drifting monster.

But yea, When I'm chilling with Shido, I see a lot of people trying to counter because of it's awesome delays and angles. If you just mix up your patterns, you can taunt your opponent until they will go back to offense; which is the best time to go defensive. [Counter, grab, ETC.]

I like playing DEMO/Taurus, and Moonlight

Though I have good and bad times with moonlight I still enjoy playing it.

I'm not consistent as I am in demo
