Ok, I'm not saying all throwers are bad. I'm talking about the throwers who throw every 4 seconds, complain about a tiny lag when their throw doesn't grab the person and they throw no one but the damage still applies, and are hella stuck up. I was playing someone exactly like that. He had Drunken Master and Heaven's and he's a thrower, so of course you know he'll be pretty good to start with. But when he starts complaining about a lil lag I had when he didn't throw me off, or when I manage to kill him by a lucky shot and he starts complaining and crying, and does the same sh*t over and over again, that's when I get mad. How do we beat people like these?

Start throwing combos (a couple of inches away, depending on the range of your hitbox your scroll combo has) and block backwards when they try to throw you (usually next to an edge). If they have omni-grab, then just use the combo tactic when they try to go for a throw.

protip: next time ask a hard question.

Kick more, Block less? >_>

Doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to figure this out (But it probably could help)

Like most fighters, jumping stops throws cold. Jumping is also like, the only way to escape someone who can counter -> throw with perfect timing. (Thows immediately after a counter will always connect regardless of which way you turn.)

go on the agressive move. dont block that much because when you block that gives them the opportunity to grab. just keep throwing your comboes.

better yet leave the room

Omni grabs often tend to grab you from a mile away if you try drifting.

Yes, this statement is very true, lol. I guess you should try predicting their pattern. For example: Punch, throw or Punch, Punch, throw. Jump or counter or something before they can complete the patter they're doing. If they don't have a pattern... you're screwed. :cry_anon:

i believe an Omni Grab is like a grab that can grab from any side. Example: Sambo, Muscle Buster, Judo.
