Frequently Asked Questions

I can't add, party, etc a certain person... Why :(?
- You can only send a buddy request to a friend if they're on. And obviously, same thing goes for partying, guild invites, and other things.
- If it still says they can't do the job at the moment, it's because they're looking through a shop at the moment

How'd you get so much Ely?
- Quest, Drops, and Training. In LaTale, quests are actually helpful unlike some games I could mention... *cough*Maple Story*cough* Most quests give decent amounts of money and some of them can be even repeated up to 3 times. By the time you're done most of Elias and Belos' quests, you should have around 300k or above. As you train, you get more and more money with your Combos and if you're lucky, you can get certain equipment that you can either sell to in-game shops or to players that are in need of your discovered item

WTF is this Mining Guidebook Level 2 I see in the Free Market?
- At the moment, the Crystal Mine is closed for access in the game. That means no one can get in there, unless you have a Crystal Mine Ticket which can only be dropped by the Ant Queen in the Ant Cave with a VERY low drop rate %. If you use the Crystal Mine Ticket, you will be able to find all sorts of unique monsters, such as the Spriggan, which drops the Mining Guidebook 2. Though it has no use at the moment, it's quite rare and will be useful when the Mining feature comes out. Till then, you will be seeing a lot of these being shown off at the Free Market for 500k and up.

Broad Jump Boost - Finish the "Doo Da Da Jump!" quest of Jangjin of Young Gyong. You will then gain the Broad Jump skill that lets you jump FAR at edges. While running (you can only Broad Jump while running), after dropping A BIT from the edge, quickly Broad Jump and you will launch FAR. Broad Jump Boosting is helpful as it can take out the hassle of having to climbing ropes and such and get from Point A to Point B in one jump.
