I suppose that would supply a rather very instant amount of carats... but not the most you can get for spending astros. It'd be so much better if you'd just buy a Silver British and play a lot of King of the Hill on Teams at Dos Palmas. Either that, or trade with people who you can trust for carat items. That way, there wouldn't be a 75% loss by reselling an item back to the store.

Lol Except for Drunken Master and a couple other Carat items, IT'd be a complete fail to resell an astro item just for carats. I could see if you were saving up for DM or something...

I got about 3000 Carats yesterday just playing at glacier for about 2 hours, which is my personally favorite map along with Blacktop.

Here's an easier way that works psycologically.

1: But 400-600 in astros
2: Buy a 30 day cat
3: Spend the rest on mystery keys
4: Make sure you have each mystery key on.
5: By the time 1 key is done you will have enough for 1 or more boxes. Buy them.

How this works: You would usually make about 1000 in the time it takes to get 5k exp. But with a cat, you make 2k. 300 profit. However, the keys give you a lil 'present' every 5k exp, breaking your carat making into smaller segments, making it seem shorter.

That works somewhat for me, at least.

In KOTH and DEMO even the losers gain at least 80 carats while the winners go upwards to a staggering 150 carats (only the numble one player of course)

It will always require hard work though :P
