I noticed when i was playing Rumble Fighter the other day I noticed something quite interesting. This guy had Street and automatically players verbally attacked.

" Street Sucks "

" Your a Noob for buying it "

" What a Loser he got street "

I was thinking its a scroll like any other right? What's the problem

The same day this guy was using default but no one said anything

isn't street and Default basically the same thing but a different way of fighting?

basically yes. but streets PPP has a knock back whereas deafult has a knock up. everyone has there differences about a particular scroll like Muay ThaI for example:

this happned the other day.

"Muay Thai is for noobs"

"Muay Thai is a weak scroll"

Now none of these are true. Its just after the match they got owned and were talking about how I spam alot...Like dude..its how I fight and its called drifting so get over it...

Its most bad mouth for its kicks. Lots of people just keep using the kicks and not the punch combos. people forget about the punhc button and just use the kicks because it can bypass alot of scrolls combos. This is most common amongst new people to rf

I use to throw tantrums when I lost in a game when i was 3. By the ae of 5 I matured and figured out its just a game

Shidokan is the least recognized scroll in the game. No one Talks about it. No one even notices it sometimes. Prove them wrong! It's Deadly Strong!

It's mainly because shido is a so called "Illusion scroll"
To do any damage a shido user always has to outhink her opponent
rather then attacking aimlessly

Other scrolls come out faster and stronger so shido
has to use the advantage of odd range
with drifting and angled attacks to make any headway

This means no one ever really notices it when TKD, Kung Fu, Ninjutsu, and kobudo
are just so much easier to use

The fact that it's carats, and it's pretty much the premiere Naruto scroll is why people are drooling over it. I mean, the kG move does that log replacement thing, that's enough proof for me.

As for what I think is coming up next, I can't say. They threw a real curve ball with Judo, so the "oldest scroll comes next" argument is pretty much invalid (same happened with Drunken Master).

It's soul fighter only, and TKD is maybe 1k cheaper so it's a bit uncommon. But the delay on the last punch is awesome and has good knockback. KK combo is easily angled. It's actually a pretty nice scroll.

The only scrolls i "Dislike" are tkd and mt

and for valid reasons too :p
I'm not very fond of tkd because if someone manages to edge me with it (which is what 60% of tkd users do sadly) they go "oooh owned" or do an annoying movement like dance1 :D but thats only about 50% of the people I encounter with the scroll :P

MT however..... well for me about 99.999999999998% of ALL people i've faced that had MT acted like such jerks after defeat or loss, sporting the generic hockey mask / trucker hat ensemble. I've learned a way around mt, so theres no reason for me to dislike it anymore, but days as a nub around the scroll have traumatized me to a point that i can't even stand the look of it >_>

I know there are good mt users that aren't jerks and I'm just being paranoid as usual but only intense therapy will get me over the hatred of MT ;)


(P.S. by jerks, I mean people who when winning say "lol you suck" "you fail at juggling" "block moar noob" etc etc, and when losing say things like "nice lag $%#^@#" "wow spammer" "suck my -+-+-+- loser" etc.)

On a serious note, i had mt and i feel its a good scroll, as for tkd its not the scroll u hate its the population that showboats when they win. There are ppl with DM who will sit there and Drunken Monkey dance when they juggle me off.

I never look at a scroll and say noob, if on the rare occasion (once every rainbow moon) i say noob, its because of the player personality in game. A person can have jujitsu and be pro in my eyes as long as he can initiate proper skill with it and not complain when he loses or showboats when he wins.

I agree completly and i also have to say during a fight when people ever start acting like complete jerks ignore them they get more pissed there anger rises and eventually they will become hasty. Ahh Sage master well the truth is that sage master can be used my anyone and they can still own but if say a person who does not know how to use it can completly be like on a suicide mission cause sage master can leave you open a LOT most people with sage try to get close because of it's wierd knockback but getting closer just leaves room for a quick tackle in the front or a full combo to the back if they just jump over... That dind't make much sense i think but basically a lot of people don't know how to use sage because of it's power but basically One's strength can show his fatal weakness....

Well i really understand, My first scroll is (i still use it) Mao gong, I saved a lot to buy it and ppl just keep saying that I'm an edger and spammer.

Dude, Mao gong is HARD to control on edging stages since you can edge yourself if you are not paying attention, I don't care if your scroll is more slow. Besides, as most of charat scrolls, it does not have a launcher, so those astro scroll users shouldn't complain... :cool:

The way I see it, after a juggle, which is usually the difference, you're just back to the wake up game. I believe you only need to be able to play the wake up game. Carat scrolls users just have to be better at it because that can't easily rack up damage.

Heh, Well I 1v1 pretty often (infact I rarely play anything else, I have since level 12, I'm level 30 now... I'm just grateful I was rarely kicked for being a low level.) Anyway judging by the forum name, I'm guessing you may play moonlight alot. The wake up game there is pretty high risk, as the recovery kick can edge you, it may be overall not worth it. Plus I've noticed major pattern differences from Moonlight players to black top.

I have to tell you, you can juggle with vale, still it will take you time to get the right rythm (to my personal opinion, vale is the most feaful scroll when used by some1 who knows how to jugle with it)

Mao is spamming (no news there) but shoot boxing aint as spammable as it is (and requires also quite some rhytm to juggle)

Dragon on the other side is easy to juggle with but as yo say, in hands of unexperienced fellas is quite easy to beat (of course, a drifter with dragon is a BEAST)

I mentioned this cuz these are the scrolls I own right now XD

Good thing you said that, Im just starting to use my new shoot boxing scroll, i really love the defense breaker. As you say, its very delayable (and since im noob with it, I havent exploded really much its spamming capabilities).

Agreed with tudo, is very spammable and mortal against peaople that does not know how to counter properly (I have owned with the spam countless ppl) BUt still need a lot of practice with the juggle though, i can do it in ractice bt in a real match is a diferent thing, the launcher is risky to use since if you failed it you get to be totally open for some punishment

Vale's juggle is definitely pretty hard, but it does pretty serious damage, and you can do one of those fancy nanmu juggles from it.

I don't spam with Zin, I go juggle crazy mostly. It's much faster to kill in moon. IMO
