What got you all interested in RF?

My buddies started playing RF, they got me to join and I loved it :D

Why I started playing RF:

I found the site ogplanet when I was googling and saw rumble fighter so I decided to try it out and it turned out to be fun. My first scroll was tkd.

after i stoped playing world of warcraft i was looking for another online game to play on the computer. I tried guildwars for a while it was fun but then i beat the game. (it was the original and first expansion pack i had) And it got kindsa boring so i quit trried a few other games but they sucked till one day my friend who played Wow with me told me about cabal and it looked pretty cool. Then while i was at his house we went too the site and that led me to rumble fighter. Then i said hey why not try it installed it in his comp i played it then he did. I liked it and he didnt also took him 3 times to beat the tutorial while it only took me one. Then cabal came out and it sucked. so i stuck with rumble

I got bored with Gunbound..
I just got banned from maplestory..
Got bored with Gunz..
Got bored with GHOST online..
Got bored with Cartoon Racer..
Kart Rider was taken off..
Got bored with Ragnarok Private server because of corruption..
Search through mmorpg through a buncha games and looked for new releases..

By that time I was really sick of RPGs so I searched for FPS, and fighting..

I found Rumble Fighter when it first came out... I remember the good ol' days of first beta when they had capture the flag (or was it "npc") and the soccer game. Good times.. good times.. also I cannot forget the 30 minute loading times for a game!!!

wow that was so horrid! To think slow loaders are slow at this time haha!

A proof to this? My name was BruceLee. lol. However that was first beta(february 2007 or so?)... and also second beta... but by the third beta, I was on vacation in the summer and the game required us to start over from scratch again. I wasn't able to but I however managed to get the name "TonyJaa"
So I was fortunate enough.




I was so mad at BruceLee that we had a TonyJaa vs BruceLee battle once. I owned him but it was really close. It was epic; Muay Thai vs Jeet Kune Do

Anyways, i was addicted to the game for a good amount of time, until the lack of carat scrolls and exos gradually annoyed me and made me "quit"(or so I planned) the game. I don't see any reason to keep playing the game when game items are mostly astros... I didn't mind it at first, but when the astros started to be soo expensive (almost $10 for a freakin scrol or exocore!!) I got fed up... The one that pissed me off the most, I remember, was when they sold vajra boxing for carats. :mad:

A couple weeks after that, I quit.... for 8 months lol I was stuck witha lvl 34 TonyJaa for 8 months. I never thought I would be playing it again, but (another game history)

-I started playing EssenceRO.. got tired and bored so I took a break from that
-played a lil bit of combat arms... weapons expired so I quit that
-played some drift city.. got boring so i quit that
-got back to gunbound.. no fun without people so i quit that


yeah.. then my gf asked me if we can play rf... I remember being so bitchy about playing it again, but I played for her..

Next thing you know, I got addicted.

Now, I'm playing again lol

Although, im planning to quit again until the good stuff comes out which will be for a year again xD

It was in the clan section (they're usually dead). Someone made a clan about Rumble Fighter. I was looking for a new online game to play. After seeing how different this all was, I decided to try it. Although the clan in that forum didn't last that long, too few members. I kept playing for a while. It was around.. 06'? I think.

I started because back in 2008 I used to play world of warcraft. And my best friend at the time Asked me to play This game with her So I gave it a shot. She was level 39 and I was a level 1 noob. Rumble fighter was one of the google results and it matched the game i saw my friend playing so i started playing. Its the computer game ive spent money on. I saw my little brother play it back when it came out in open beta, although he may have been playing it before. I briefly remember seeing the OGPlanet site in either 2004 or 2005, can't remember and I recognized that RF was from OGPlanet.

I didn't bother with it until some months after when I saw an advertise for it on FilePlanet because I thought I was too old for a game with graphics like this... BOY WAS I FUCKING WRONG!! So I joined "officially" at the end of July 07. Got banned for something stupid, took a break, and rejoined that same year inNovember 07. My first scroll on my first account was Kung Fu, followed by Mao Gong.

I currently have an account that I made last year, but no one knows about it except one person who doesn't visit this site often!

Downloaded it, played it, been hooked since. (I never did like GetAmped, lol)
