MLV is getting a neat guild section thanks to Kietsu. A lot of it looks fantastic so far. So here are my suggestions for it.
Guild Information/Description
Shouldn't be hard to implement. A simple description of the guild. The rules/criteria of the guild. How to join the guild. etc.
You can even include what the guild might excell at, or how to contact the guild for a guild battle.
Customizable outlay
Banners,signatures,posters. etc.
Rankings within the guild
Some guilds choose to have sub-divisions like guild leader, guild captains, guild manager or whatever. It could be possible to have the guild leader create it's own subdivisions to categorize the guild members.
Guild record
A record to keep track of how many battles the guild played. Their battles against others. Previous members. etc.
Guild reputation
A system intended to promote sportsmanship in some sense. It works almost exactly like the trade feedbacks.
If both guild give eachother positive guild feedbacks. Both guild will get GP. GP is a system already implemented in the guild. The amount given varies, but it shouldn't be a lot, just a small amount.
Only guild leaders can give feedback, since the leader is the representative of the guild itself.
To prevent people from simply making guilds for the sake of raising another's reputation, guilds must have at least participated in 2 guild battles and have 5 members. Guilds can not give other guilds they haven't fought yet a reputation rating. Screenshots of the fights/fight results are practically mandatory.
Guild Tourneys
Optional guild tournaments. It's an event where guilds will face eachother in a tournament bracket. Preferably it should be 2v2 or 3v3, but can also be 4v4 (which is really hard to set-up). Winning guild will be awarded GP + additional optional prizes as well.
There can also be a 1v1 tourney where people are representative of their guilds. Depending on their ranking within the tournament, the GP of the guild he/she is representing can fall or rise. There can be numerous representative of a guild within a tourney, just like how countries have numerous representatives for events in the Olympics.
Those are what I have so far.
