Hello everyone. First of all, I will introduce myself (The "Introduce Yourself" section is down for some reason.)

I am KrazieKid and GuardianHero on RF, and rfjunkies on the OGP forums. I'm sure some of you know me.

I'm sure you remember rfjunky (aka Zodd, the creator of the Rumble Fighter Music Loader, and also my brother.)
But he's banned now, *Sadface* for reasons I don't even comprehend.

I have made 2 music sets in the past (Black Out Music and Replacement RF Music). I'm sure you picked those up in the RFML Repository on the OGP forums or on this forum.

The other day I thought, "why not make a new music set? It's been a few months, might aswell." So, I did. It's called Project Pro! Sounds epic doesn't it?

For this music set, I kept some of the same music (boss mode, chinatown, zen temple) but I added in music for Zombie Mode (which no one plays, but what the heck?)

I also have updated Black Out and Replacement.

A person on the OGP forums asked me to find links of my music on Youtube, but I couldn't find all of them. I suggest you just use a .ogg to .mp3 converter if you want to listen to each BGM seperately. Much easier than Youtube.

I have a request.

Im not sure if you can also do it, but if you ever release a RF Music Loader 5.0, or can update this one, can you be sure to include the [Area]s for boss modes 5, 7 and 8? Boss mode 6 has Moonlight Valley/Third Rock etc music. so you shouldn't need to worry about that. Although,

Boss mode 5 has a new music file,

Boss mode 7 has 3 music files,

Boss mode 8 has a new music file.

So just wondering if you can ready this ahead of time in case you guys are inactive when this occurs. Or better yet, teach us how to do it ourselves.

Well I'm not sure what kind of music any of those stages use, so I can't really make music for you.. xD

But there is a way for you to do it yourself. This is a little lengthy, but very easy.

Converting Music

1. First, find a nice MP3 file you want to use. It can be any kind of music, really, I don't care.

2. Next, if you have a program that converts MP3 files to OGG files, use that.
If not, I suggest this a program called "dBpoweramp". It's awesome. Here's a link for you: http://www.mediafire.com/?2oe67tjqgdc96d7

3. Next, if you are using the program above, you will need to find the MP3 you wish to use (put it in a folder so you know where it is) and the click Convert (upper left corner).

4. Next, a formatting window will come up. It will ask you what kind of file you want to convert it to.
In the Drop down box, select "ogg vorbis".

If the selection is gray, do the following: click on it anyways. It will prompt you to download the file from the Internet, and click yes. It will bring you to the dBpoweramp website, and click the download. Now, close out of the formatting window and click Convert (upper left corner) again. "ogg vorbis" will not be gray and you can convert.

5. Where it says "Frequency" and "Channels" you can leave at "as source". Now that you have selected ogg vorbis, click on output location (middle of window).

6. When you're done with the setting, click convert in the formatting window (lower right). A progress bar will appear and when done, click Finish. You're music will be converted. Yay!

Using Music In-Game

If you followed the steps above, you will have a song (or songs) to now use for Rumble Fighter.
These next steps are a little tricky, so READ CAREFULLY.

1. Make a folder inside "070000_snd" inside the Rumble Fighter folder. Name it something distinct like "New Music" or something. Now put the song (or songs) you just converted into the folder.
You will notice that there are other .ogg files here. These are all the sounds and songs used in game.

2. Ok, good. You have your songs in that folder. But you need to rename them so the game recognizes them!
For example, if you want to change the moonlight music, the file name for that is "bgm_lightvally.ogg"

IMPORTANT: Do not forget the .ogg while renaming a file!

3. Now that all the songs inside your folder are renamed to be recognized by the game, its time to put them to use!
I suggest using the "Rumble Fighter Music Loader (http://mlvalley.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4175)" and follow the steps inside that thread to put the music to use.

But if you like doing the following steps EVERYTIME you play Rumble Fighter, then do this.

1. First, go into the 070000_snd and make a new folder called "Original Music". Now, COPY all the .ogg files from 070000_snd and put them into the Original Music folder.

2. Launch Rumble Fighter. When the updating finishes, go into the folder of your custom music. COPY and paste the music files into the 070000_snd folder.

You might hear some weird noises if you are already in game and you change the music. Just change the map/screen you are on and you will hear the music.

3. You will notice that since you just put those sound files into the 070000_snd folder, Rumble Fighter will take time to overwrite and patch them. To avoid this, COPY the music from the "Original Music" folder and put it into 070000_snd BEFORE you launch Rumble Fighter. This way, you won't need to wait for the game to patch the files.

4. Repeat step 2.

And there you have it, you've successfully converted music and put it in game!

YOU'RE LEGENDARY!!
